Hypothetical cumulative DVH for rectum or bladder. Each DVH was divided into low dose (0–33% of the prescription), intermediate dose (34–66%), high dose (67–100%), and "high-dose tail" (>100%) regions. The volume of tissue receiving doses in each of these ranges (VL, VI, VH, VHDT) was calculated.
