The section was chosen to be in roughly the same location as the MRI data shown in Fig. 2. a Macroscopic examination is consistent with the MRI findings with mass effect and disrupted white matter. b Wide field picture of the Luxol-Fast Blue stained section shows clear demyelination of the left hemisphere as expected of RIBI. c × 10 magnification of the hematoxylin and eosin shows vascular changes and inflammatory infiltration suggestive of radiation necrosis.
