Panel A; The blue holographic overlays of both the patient and QR cube indicate the use of marker-less (VSLAM) tracking. Although the phantom has been aligned to its hologram, the phantom’s position is incorrect as there is a clear difference between the QR cube and it’s holographic twin. This can happen if there are changes within the local environment that affect features being tracked by the VSLAM algorithm. Panel B; To correct this, the user must switch to marker-based tracking as indicated by the red holographic overlays.
